Avocados are a delicious fruit that pairs well with everything and have many health benefits! They provide unsaturated “good “ fats and many vitamins. Avocados are high in fiber, vitamin C, vitamin E, potassium. When ripe, avocados tend to have a darker green close to black skin color; however, color isn’t always an indicator for ripeness. Ripe avocados should yield to gentle pressure without leaving indentations or feeling mushy.
